A celebration of moving

2 years ago when my little family moved I had some good strong hands to help, this past weekend in the midst of dog sitting, stars and stripes and 98 degree heat THOSE hands needed a hand moving THEIR humble abode.
Lili and I schlepped up to their house and helped with packing and hauling and moving and they rewarded us with a cool night, some succulent lobsters and good company.

I may or may not have cropped out a naughty finger.

BIRD, BIRD, BIRD ATC Swap from @weeatcrayons on swapbot, this ATC was too cute! It's hard to tell here, but it is made with felt and ribbon, all stitched up. It was very thick and hard to fit in my collection binder but I trimmed a little of the cardboard backing and it made it in :)

These images are so awesome, they were from a wish list item posted in the Scraptopia Group forum on swap-bot, there are about a billion TEA themed stamps in here I am going to use to make invitations to a Winter Wonderland Tea party I am hosting in January (more on that after the holidays).

I got a huge surprise when I went to the PO today, a BIG box from My happy mail partner Amber, and a bunch of swaps. It was almost like Christmas! Thank you for all my goodies guys!

World Maple Festival

The world maple festival was today in St. Johnsbury and teh weather was perfect. Autumn decided that before we headed out she and Lili had to have matching outfits on, they were so cute!

Lili LOVES baloons, too bad I forgot it was in the car when we left. I opened the sunroof and out it went, off to have baloony adventures...

Baxter accompanied us to the festival (of course! we don't go ANYWHERE without him!) He got to test out some handmade wands, eat maple scones and taste some amazing sugar on snow...

What would a St. Jay festival (or any farmers market around here for that matter) without our signature pipe cleaner tiaras!
